Hi everyone.  I'm still at the mercy of a very old computer so it is difficult for me to respond to comments and notes unless I am in school.  But since I do have access to modern to  computers at times I am trying to respond more to comments both here and on fanfic.  I am able to read what everyone write and it means a lot.  I makes me sad when I can't respond - my operating system is so old I haven't been able to update Safari in years!

Just a heads up to let everyone know that I have a very old computer and it doesn't interact well with a lot of websites including this one.  I'm having trouble reading notes and responding to comments.  If I don't get back to you please, please don't take it personally.

you are VERY talented!!
:icondererplz: Thanks for the :+devwatch:! :tighthug:
i'm starting to make drawing classes now, you could give me advice or say what you think of my drawing? be sincere (:
Sure!  the best advice I can give you is to give yourself a lot of time and patience.  When I was younger - my older brother could look at any photo and draw it perfectly.  People visiting my house would ask why my parents had a photograph of cat woman on their wall, my Mum would say - "That isn't a photo, my son drew that."  Back then, I could draw a little - but nothing like my brother.  It wasn't until my junior year of college that I decided to devote a lot of time to learning to draw.  I sat myself down and spent 3 months copying out of an anatomy book.  It turned out, that when I really focused, I could draw just like my brother - in black and white at least.  Some of it is natural talent, but the rest is just practice - and a little bit of magic as well.  I still have trouble with faces.  Sometimes I get lucky and it works quickly - other times it can take days.  With my Loki drawing, I got him in two hours, but there is a Snape drawing that took me 4 days to get his face the way I wanted.  Another bit of advice - art classes can be great - but don't let a teacher push you to draw in a style you don't like.  It can be fun to experiment - but if you know what you like and how you want to draw, and they can't help you draw in that style - find the artist who do and figure out how they work.  My first years of art school I wanted to do photo realism.  All my professors wanted me to throw paint on a canvas with a knife.  Finally I sought out Illustration classes.  So that is my advice - that and have fun!!!  And have good references to draw from.  PS - if you're interested - I draw with a mechanical 5 mm pencil and when I really need to draw detail I use a 3 mm mechanical pencil.  I almost always draw on bristol board because I love the texture!
oh thanks so much! liked your story *-* I will strive very !
Hey there. Thanks for the Loki faves!
